Marilyn Wanek, Legal Assistant and Office Manager

Marilyn Wanek runs the daily operations of our law firm and also provides legal assistant services to our estate planning and real estate clients.

Marilyn has served with Wood & Rue for 30 years. In her own words, “I truly enjoy the work I do and have never had a day that I did not want to go to work!” That said, Marilyn embraces her free time with zeal, spending as much of it as possible with her family and friends. She’ll take in a hockey game whenever possible and enjoys listening to all kinds of music.

Arielle Johnson, Legal Assistant

Arielle Johnson’s focus as a legal assistant is working with our family law clients. To her, the most important aspect of her job is helping put clients’ concerns at ease and lowering their stress levels. She is always looking for ways to make the clients know their concerns have been heard and she is here to help.

Arielle is new to Wood & Rue. Prior to that, she spent a year and half working at the City Prosecution Office in Willmar. She attended St. Cloud Technical and Community College where her major was Paralegal. When she isn’t in the office, Arielle is spending time with her family and friends, and engaging in favorite pastimes such as hunting, fishing and attending her son’s sporting events.

Stacy Shoultz, Probate Assistant

Stacy Shoultz’s emphasis in our office is helping handle the many issues involved in probate. She is here to not only help keep cases moving through the process, but also to ensure that our clients are fully up to date about what is happening. She knows that our probate clients are often going through difficult times, so she does what she can to remove the legal concerns from the picture.

Stacy started work with Wood & Rue in September, 2016.  She has 18 years of experience as a legal assistant and extensive knowledge in probate law.  She attended the legal secretarial program at Alexandria Technical College.  When Stacy is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and attending sporting events.
